Boots Haul + Offers Roundup!

As most of you will know, Boots have a lot of great gift sets on 1/2 price at the moment, but with the Christmas sale in the limelight, other offers go by the way side, here's just a few I found and a little haul :)

(I wish I had know this offer would be running now, bought these before Christmas and could have saved a few bucks, but that is life).

I picked up my favourite shampoo and conditioner from the Brazilian keratin therapy line, as recommended by Michele1218 on Youtube. I thought I'd give the renewing Moroccan argan oil a whirl too as I have just ran out of my Loreal Professional Mythic Oil, its passing was mourned :(

Revlon Just Bitten Lip Balm and Lip Butters - £5!

I've always wanted to try these, but find them a little steep for £8, (I'd rather buy a Chubby Stick) but at a fiver I snapped up #1 Honey and I love it! going back for more tomorrow (and possibly a lip butter)

Some staples for a nail blogger, Cutex nail polish remover and my favourite - Kensington Caviar Top coat by Nails Inc (I got the duo so I could try the base coat too)!

and onto the good stuff! I picked up these Fearn Cotton nail art strips in the 50% sale, a bargain at only £3.

I also found Essie Penny Talk lurking in the reduced section for only £3!!

...and using my no7 £3 off make up voucher I picked up a new polish from their revamped collection. This is Star Shower, a glittery polish that I can't wait to try.

If you find yourselves wondering the aisles in Boots this week, and you have an advantage card, be sure to pick up a copy of their free magazine for 25% off any Sally Hansen nail product coupon (I've picked up three copies in two days ... oops)!

I hope you enjoyed this little haul!

If you are here as a result of the #bbloggers chat- Hello! and welcome to my blog, feel free to leave a comment or follow!

If you have a Boots haul please leave your link in the comments so others can stop by :) and if you buy anything as a result of this post, please let me know what you tried and how you got on with the product, I love to hear from you all!

Trick or Treat?! How to Remove Glitter Polish

Everyone should be able to enjoy wearing glitter nail polish at this festive time of year without being afraid of the removal process. Today I am going to show you a quick, easy and efficient removal method, using household items that everybody should have to hand.

You will need:
Nail Polish Remover
Cotton Wool
Kitchen Foil

and that's all you'll need!

Fist we will need to tear off 10 equal squares of kitchen foil, they need to be large enough to wrap around your finger nail and accommodate the cotton wool.

Next you will need to saturate your cotton wool in nail polish remover, I am using Cutex Moisture Guard with nail whitening formula. This is the one I like, any will do, but I find this one quick and easy to work with. I am also using balls of cotton wool instead of the pads as I find these soak up the polish remover better.

Lay the cotton wool in the middle of the foil, place your nail over the cotton wool and wrap around your finger, ensuring a tight as possible seal to prevent the nail varnish seeping out.

When you have wrapped all 10 fingers, relax ....

and do the robot!

Leave for about 2 minutes, then carefully, without tearing or ripping the foil, rub the cotton wool over your nails, if it moves with ease it is ready to be removed, if not leave for a further minute and try again.

Hey Presto! Glitter free nails!

I hope this was helpful to some of you! enjoy your festive glitter nails!
