#OrangeOctober Satsuma Gelly

#OrangeOctober day 17

I'm excited about todays post! Im also including a little haul too as I recently took a trip to Boots and picked up some of the new Barry M Nail Paints and want to share them with all of you!

But first here is todays #OrangeOctober colour. This is one of Barry M's new Gelly Nail Paints in Satsuma. Don't be fooled, this is not a Jelly or "Sorbet" finish polish, the Gelly Barry refers to is the Gel -like finish, these babies are so shiny and pigmented its crazy.

This is 2 coats of Satsuma with no top coat (Seche Vite sat this one out)!

They do retail for a little bit more than the normal nail paints, these are £3.99 but at the moment all Barry M Nail Paints are 3 for 2 at Boots and probably the cheapest gel finish polishes at the drug store.

I couldn't resist that deal, heres my mini haul....

GNP 3 Watermelon, GNP 7 Satsuma, GNP 1 Blackberry, and NP 354 Amethyst Glitter.

So far I have only tried Satsuma, but I can't wait to try the other gorgeous colours.

Have you tried the Gellys yet?
if not, which ones would you like to try?

#OrangeOctober Big Hair

Day 13 #OrangeOctober

Unlucky for some...

Hello and welcome back! Todays orange is a bit darker; a dark orange-coral colour and a sorbet finish (Jelly to you and me).

This is 3 coats of Big Hair ... Big Nails from OPI's Summer Texas collection.

Drying time was impressively quick and no top coat was needed! bonus. Its super shiny but you will get VNL (if your nails are in a better condition than mine, that might be a good thing).

#OrangeOctober Big Daddy

#OrangeOctober Day 9

I must admit I have never been a fan of Sinful Colors. I've had the opportunity to try their polishes once or twice and was always left unimpressed, some applied streaky or needed multiple coats to achieve full opacity, others just didn't live up to what the bottle promised. But Big Daddy has converted me...

The formula, much like yesterdays polish, was a little thinner than I prefer (expect flooded cuticles yet again) but the colour was opaque in just one coat! A rich, vibrant, reddish tone orange with a juicy jelly like finish. This polish won't need a generous coat of Seche Vite for a high shine finish, but for some reason I still felt compelled to add one.

I don't know much about Sinful Colors, except the brand is not easily accessible here in the UK. So I don't know whether this comes from a themed collection or where the name came from. But I like to think its a reference to these guys ...
