Yankee Candle Haul 2.0

While browsing in a local department store I came across a gold mine of Yankee Candles.
So I scooped up some of the candles and accessories I have been eyeing longingly for a while, and what made my shopping venture even better? there was an extra 20% off at the till! SCORE!

Lets start with the candles. I have lots of little tea light holders around the house, but no tea lights. What's a girl to do? So I picked up a box of their new scent Blissful Autumn.

Yankee describe the scent as being reminiscent of crisp autumn air with orchard fruit breezes ... blissful, brisk and woody. I think it smells like drinking pear cider around a bonfire, if that scenario indeed had a smell. Either way the scent is fruity and yummy and beautifully fitting for autumn, Halloween and bonfire night. I currently have these burning in the study and they smell wonderful.

Another new candle I picked up to try is the Red Velvet cupcake scent. This sounds AMAZING but sometimes I find Yankee's cupcake fragrances a little too sickly for me, so I just picked a sampler  to see how I get on.

While browsing the samplers I also found 2 reduced Fluffy Towels candles, well I couldn't leave those behind could I? These smell gorgeous, just like freshly laundered while towels, just like it says :)

and ... how could I resist these cute tea light holders? they are from the Leaves Etched Glass collection I believe but they will look good in any room as the design isn't too overpowering.

Have you got favourite Yankee Candle?
