Yankee Candle Haul and a bit of a review.

Yay! I love candles, and so now that I have more space to put them in, I had to go shopping for some more ;)

I have three new Yankee Candles to show you today all from the Yankee Candle Fruit Fragrance collection, perfect for summer, and one recommendation from their AW/2012 range that I think I will be purchasing in the near future.

From left to right Sicilian Lemon, Bahama Breeze and Pink Dragon Fruit.

I decided to go with the tumblers this time as they have a more sleek design than the traditional jars. I think I will refrain from buying jars now, unless its a limited edition, or a Christmas collection.

This is Sicilian Lemon, described as "A bright and Sunny Citrus ... perfectly ripe, with a naturally sweet and refreshing scent. Sicilian Lemon glows with the warmth of a Mediterranean summer holiday."

They are right. I bought this one purposely to remind me of being on holiday in Italy, and it really does!  it also smells a little like this lemon refresher sweets you used to buy as a kid, so theres a bit of nostalgia thrown in there for good measure.

Bahama Breeze has to be my favourite out of the three. A fruity blend of tropical pineapple, mango and grapefruit, it smells like a cocktail you would enjoy on holiday while lounging on an exotic beach. Whats not to like? the perfect candle for a little bit of "me" time. I enjoy burning this one while I enjoy a Lush Bath.

Last but not least I have Pink Dragon Fruit.

"Colourful and intriguing ... there's a lure of adventure in the sweet aroma of Pink Dragon Fruit. Its festive, summer holiday in the tropics that can be enjoyed anytime."

I haven't had the chance to burn this one, but it smells delicious and fruity and the hot pink colour is bright and cheerful, even on a gloomy British summer day.

Now my recommendation from the A/W2012 collection has to be Red Velvet, yet another variation of Yankee's popular Cupcake fragrance. I have only tested this one once in a store, but can I just say YUM!!! I will defiantly be stocking up on this scent in every variation, and the festive red colour of the candle will take me right the way through to Christmas. I may treat myself to a large tumbler and some tea lights for the holidays!

Yankee Candle Tumblers retail for £9.95 for the regular tumbler, £15.49 for the two wick medium timber (shown here) and £19.15 for a large tumbler. I bought mine from the Yankee Candle Outlet for a small saving, shipping was fast and the staff were extremely helpful, I highly recommend them. I have found that the tumblers are extremely hard to come buy thats why I turned to online. I would always recommend that you always test a scent out before you buy.

Do you have a favourite Yankee Candle?

During last weeks bblogger chat on twitter many of you told me one of your favourite types of blog post are Sale posts or Freebie posts! Who wouldn't love that?? fab make up and beauty products at discounted prices, or better still, free!

So while browsing my favourite shops I kept my eyes peeled for great offers, money off and freebies to share with you all!

Enjoy the bargains!

Lets start with Superdrug! who at the moment are running some great money off deals.

One thing I picked up this week was a gradual tanner, I picked this one because of the money off, £2.86 saving! and who doesn't love Dove?

Clean and Clear at Superdrug is better than half price, with most of their face washes reduced to just £1.98! thats a saving of £2.01 AND on the website it is also showing as 3 for 2 so by combing these two offers you could potentially save a whopping £8.01!!! (that equals a bottle of Essie)!

My final pick from Superdrug are the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains which as £2 off making them just £5.99 (reduced from £7.99)

Don't forget to pick up a Beautycard and start collecting points.

Now lets look at Debenhams Blue Cross Sale and its not just clothing and cute shoes they have reduced. Take a look at their range of Illamaqua Nail Varnishes that are better than half price at just £5.99 a bottle, a crazy price considering one bottle would normally set you back £13.50

With this months issue of Cosmo (£3.50) get a free bottle of Missguided nail varnish in either pink, orange or yellow which I believe normally retails for £5 each. Sounds good to me!

This next offer will be a bit hit and miss, but for those of you lucky ones who may be able to get this its a real steal! some Sainsburys supermarkets are reportedly reducing Rimmel Glam Eyes Mascara in the  colour Black/Brown (barcode 3661163907383) to just 0.01 Yes thats right just 1p so check your supermarkets ladies!

Boots Haul

Hi guys! and a big Hello to all my new followers!

Sorry I have been MIA over the last couple of months, alot has been going on, but I can happily say I am now back and excited about blogging again.

To ease myself back into the business of blogging I though I would share with you my recent purchaces from Boots.

Lets start with the most exciting - The nail polish of corse!

From left to right
No7 Gold Glitter Top Coat, Silver Glitter Top Coat, Essie Buy Me a Cameo, Turquoise and Caicos.

Revlon Base Coat, Top Coat and Slate Blue.

Organix Keritin Shampoo and Conditioner.

Michele1218 on youtube first introduced me to these products and I was a little too over excited when I stumbled upon these in Boots a couple of months ago, since then I have been using other shampoos, but I decided to go back to this range. Nothing gets my hair as clean, shiny and smelling as nice as Organix, and its sulphate free. It may even replace John Freeda Curl Shampoo as my favourite! but thats crazy talk :)

If your thinking of trying this shampoo, I'd recommend picking up the conditioner too as for me I find it a little too clarifying, so its nice to put a little bit of moisture back.

Lastly after much going back and forth, should I get it? shouldn't I? I snuck this big boy into my shopping bag.

Sanctuary body soufflé.

I love this stuff, its a little expensive but worth EVERY penny.

So thats my haul, what products have you hauled recently? leave a link to your haul and I'll check them out!
