William Tell Comparison

So here's William Tell Me About OPI a beautiful dark Burgundy/purple creme from OPI's new Swiss Collection

I wanted this polish to be what I wanted Lincoln Park after Dark to be, a dark dark purple that translates to exactly that on the nail, not just in the bottle. So as soon as my package arrived I couldn't wait to try it out.

LPAD and I have a bit of a love hate relationship.

I love it on anyone Else's nails, I love it in the bottle, but I just don't love it on me. I can wear opaque black on my nails, no problem. But LPAD just turns into a streaky mess, probably just my untidy application teamed with how transparent the polish is. I don't know I just cant seem to get it to look right. As a result I don't reach for this colour anymore.

Top to bottom we have
Give me Moore (Espana collection)
William Tell Me About OPI (Swiss collection)
Lincoln Park After Dark (Chicago collection)

So as you can tell from the photo; WT boasts the richest colour, still vampy but not black, compared to GMM and LPAD - this application was surprising easy and it glided on. rediscovery! I'm already itching to wear it.

William Tell's applied like butter - effortless. you could almost get away with just one coat.
In fact all of the Swiss collection that I have tried so far have been effortless to apply. I don't know what your doing OPI but I like it! This polish will be amongst my fave autumn colours this year

What colours have you tried from the Swiss collection?

OPI Haul

eek look what was delivered! OPI Swiss collection goodies <3

The 6 I chose were (from left to right)...

Ski Teal We Drop
William Tell Me About OPI
Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous
Cuckoo for this Colour
Yodel Me on My Cell

Today I wore Cuckoo for this Colour and received so many lovely comments on it. If you haven't already picked it up I would definitely recommend that one.

I have heard raving reviews of Diva of Geneva, but to be honest, it was never on my "to get" list. It looked to similar to Meet Me on the Star Ferry from the Spring/Summer Hong Kong Collection and as I tend to steer clear of pinks reds and shimmers I thought it just wasn't for me, maybe I will pick that one up at a later date, along with the colour to watch as I don't have anything too similar in my collection ... yet.

As for now I am happy with my picks from this collection and can't wait to try them all out.

What are your top picks from this collection?

Most Wanted!

Browsing websites is one of my favourite things to do on a Sunday (its the next best thing to shopping)! so here I am showing anyone who wants to take a look, my most wanted this month...

Rare Bandeau Dress

Isn't it just so pretty?! I just love that aqua/turqouise/duck egg colour, and there is not too much pink to scare me away. I have in my mind the idea that this dress will look perfect teamed with CG For Audrey on finders and OPI Mod about You on toes.

I have seen this on ASOS sale reduced to just £16 so I think come pay day I will be the proud owner of this beauty :D

Etsy Sideways Cross Necklace by Theresa Mink

I have had my eye on this neaklace ever since I was introduced to it by Lollipop26 and I've been looking for everyday items of jewelery that I can wear to work that aren't too much of a statement and wont cause offence. This beauty fits the bill :)and for what sad reason am I convinced I want this??

Miley Cyrus has one ....
whats even worse is that I am not ashamed to admit it.

Kirstin Ash Fleur de Lys Eiffel Tower Pendant

Dont you just love that photo, the eiffel Tower and Paris? the most romantic city in the world.
J'adore the vintage look to this neaklace and after 7 trips to wonderful Paris I feel I require a souvenir. This one will probably go onto my Christmas wish list.
