Valentines Manicures: Black Lace

Todays theme for the Valentine Nail Art Challenge is lace of fabric, as you can see I went with lace.

Inspired by one of my favourite perfumes - Valentino Rock n Rose Couture, which has now sadly been discontinued. I used OPI Your Royal Shine-ness as my base, with 2 coats of Pirouette My Whistle for an extra bit of sparkle.

Parisian

Parisian is from OPI's new range of Pure Laquer Nail Apps (not to be confused with their nail app stickers that were a bit rubbish)

These real polish strips are available in 14 different designs, and in two finishes. Parisian is classed as a creme but is  certainly far from boring and has its own subtle shimmer. The only downside to this design is I though it would be centred in every app, but it isn't :( I tried to choose the most centred designs for my nails, but that means theres a lot of waste product.

Application is similar to the Sally Hansen Salon Effects; choose the perfect fit, apply to clean nail, stretch to fit, file off excess. Really easy! and zero drying time if you choose not to add a top coat. I have added a coat of Nails Inc Kensington Caviar top coat, just because I really want this manicure to last!
